IoT Smart Locker Application is a unique delivery service that lets users pick up their packages from a selected smart locker. Users can create an account and select the nearby smart locker and hub address. Users can order from anywhere online and use a nearby Smart Locker address at checkout. Users will receive the package at a selected smart locker. After that, users can pick up the package anytime and access the smart locker using an IoT Bluetooth-enabled Mobile app.
This was a very challenging project for our development team. The client approached us with an idea of IoT Mobile application development which will work as a smart locker system platform. The main challenge was to integrate the mobile app with IoT hardware locker devices.
Our team analyzed the requirement and attended various meetings with the client team to understand the business logic of the IoT-enabled smart locker hardware device. Our team implemented the Mobiikey Wyna SDK for smart locker devices. Our team successfully delivered the project with great UI/UX and performance.
The mobile app has ample security with 2-factor OTP authentication using a phone number.
The users can search nearby locker locations on the Google Map for a delivery address.
Google Map Integration
The mobile app has Google Map integration for a fast map interface.
There is an app for delivery people as well to manage their orders for the day.
The drivers can use the mobile app to view the daily order requests that they need to deliver to the smart locker.
The users can view their pending and completed delivery history from the app.
The users can view the status updates for the delivery and track status to know when the package has arrived at the smart locker.
The driver and customer can use the IoT-enabled mobile app to unlock the locker and pick or drop the package into the smart locker.
Online Payment Integration
The customer can pay online for accessing the smart locker service. We have integrated Tap payment APIs into the mobile app for secure online payment.
The users will receive in-app push notifications for delivery requests and status updates.
The mobile app supports English and Arabic RTL language to cater to a wider range of user bases.
The system admin can use the admin portal to manage the application process from the intuitive and user-friendly interface.
Admin can manage customers and delivery people from a web admin portal.
Locker Address Management
Admin can manage the smart locker address and hub address from a web admin portal.
Package Delivery Management
Admin can manage delivery requests and view the status of delivery requests from the web portal.
